We recognize the urgent need to be mindful of our industry's impact on both the people and the environment.
𓊍
With the climate crisis intensifying, it’s more crucial than ever to carefully consider every step we take. Our commitment is to use the highest quality eco-friendly materials, ensuring we deliver maximum value to our customers.
𓊍
We design products that last way beyond expectations, empowering our customers to live life to the fullest—whether they’re scrambling through mountains or navigating city streets. There should be no boundaries.
𓊍
Inspired by nature, we are dedicated to minimizing our environmental footprint as much as possible.
Thinking Long Term
Sustainability is about long-term thinking, but the climate crisis demands urgent action.
Even though the full impact of our choices will unfold over the years to come, the decisions we make today shape the future we want to create. That’s why we are committed to evaluating and refining our processes now! ...because real sustainability is built on consistent, conscious actions.
One of the key commitments we’ve made, and one we take
immense pride in, is keeping our production permanently within the EU. As a brand that takes sustainability seriously, we recognise that proximity matters. That’s why, while our capacity allows, we are maintaining all production within a 200km radius. This decision significantly reduces our CO2 footprint, ensures fair working conditions, and strengthens local economies. By making these deliberate choices now, we are laying the groundwork for a more responsible and sustainable future.
𓊍 Sustainable Materials
Our clothing is crafted from eco-friendly materials, meticulously chosen to ensure they align with our vision for a more sustainable future. We prioritise responsibly sourced fabrics, whether through organic farming, recycled content, or other sustainable practices that reduce environmental harm.
Our materials are certificated with:
Bluesign, Oeko-tex standard 100 certificate, Global Recycled Standard, Global Organic Textile standard (GOTS)
𓊍 Local Manufacturing
To ensure the highest quality and maintain an eco-friendly approach, we have strategically located our manufacturing facilities as close as possible to our headquarters. By keeping most of our production within 200 kilometers of Bratislava, we are able to maintain greater control over the production process, ensure better working conditions, and significantly reduce our carbon footprint. This proximity allows us to minimize transportation emissions, support local economies, and uphold our commitment to sustainability while delivering premium products to our customers.
Our factories are located:
- Slovakia - Trenčín
- Slovakia - Zlaté Klasy
- Slovakia - Šamorín
𓊍 Eco-friendly Packaging
To minimize our environmental footprint, we package all of our products in certified recycled and recyclable boxes. By choosing sustainable packaging, we reduce the demand for virgin materials and cut down on waste that would otherwise end up in landfills. These eco-friendly boxes are not only made from post-consumer recycled content, but they are also designed to be fully recyclable, ensuring a closed-loop lifecycle. This commitment to sustainable packaging is part of our broader mission to reduce our impact on the planet at every stage of the product journey, from production to delivery.
Our packaging is certificated with:
- Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)
𓊍 (Un)limited stock?
We carefully regulate our clothing production to minimize excessive waste and promote a more sustainable manufacturing process. By adopting efficient production methods and optimizing resource use, we ensure that only what is necessary is produced, reducing the overuse of materials and energy. We also repurpose or recycle leftover fabrics wherever possible, turning potential waste into valuable resources. This conscious approach helps us significantly reduce our environmental impact while maintaining the high-quality standards of our products, ensuring a more responsible and sustainable production cycle.
Versatility | A Smarter Path to Sustainability
Sustainability isn’t just about the materials we use, it’s also about how we consume. At its core, true sustainability means making conscious choices that reduce waste and extend the life of what we own. That’s why versatility is not only a key pillar of modern sustainability but also central to our design philosophy.
By choosing multi-functional products that seamlessly transition between different settings, whether from urban streets to outdoor adventures or from work to leisure, you reduce the need for excess clothing. Fewer but better pieces mean less waste, lower demand for raw materials, and a significantly reduced environmental footprint from production and transportation. This mindful approach to consumption leads to a more circular economy, where well-made, durable items replace the culture of fast fashion and disposable trends.
At SVAHY, we design with this philosophy in mind, creating apparel that adapts to your needs, lasts for years, and supports a future where less truly is more.
